Affordable Housing: An Essential Investment

CHRA's annual congress, 2010, took place in Québec City and was attended by nearly 300 delegates.

Keynote: Sara L. White, Center on Wisconsin Strategy
Our pre-congress theme was  “Green Housing, Green Jobs”. We launched our new Green Policy Statement and we asked delegates to help us develop a go-forward strategy for its implementation. Click here for more information. 

Congress Keynote Speaker : Mercedes Márquez
Assistant Secretary for Community Planning and Development, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) gave an inspiring keynote speech at Congress 2010. Ms. Márquez also announced new homelessness legislation set to be implemented in the US. 

Youth Caucus @ CHRA Congress
Young professionals and students (19-29) interested in housing attended to share ideas and learn from all of the experts in attendance.  Click here for more information.
