MPs must open the door to safe, affordable housing

On February 27, MPs will have an incredible opportunity. They will vote on Bill C-400, An Act to ensure secure, adequate, accessible and affordable housing for Canadians. If passed, the door will finally be opened to coordinated action on affordable housing and homelessness from all partners – governments and non-government stakeholder alike. Even though this Bill doesn’t contain federal spending commitments, it isn’t clear that a majority of MPs will vote in favour it.
