Governments of Canada & Nunavut Sign Agreement to Deliver Investments for Affordable Housing

The Governments of Canada and Nunavut announced a combined investment of close to $9 million under a new affordable housing agreement. The agreement comes as a result of Affordable Housing 2011 – 2014 Framework between the federal, provincial and territorial governments which was announced in July 2011. Nunavut will use the funds under the new agreement to create new and renovate existing affordable housing for households in need.
