Jody Ciufo

Executive Director

Jody joined the Canadian Housing and Renewal Association as Executive Director in November 2009. She holds a BA (Hons) in English Literature from Carleton University (1984) and an MBA from the University of Ottawa (1995) with emphasis on policy and marketing.  Ms. Ciufo has over 20 years of management experience in not-for-profit organizations, mostly at the national level. She has worked for the Canadian Council of Professional Engineers, Canadian Automobile Association, Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, and the Canadian Red Cross Society.

The Board of Directors hired her with a clear mandate for enhancing membership services, raising CHRA’s profile and voice at the national level, and expanding investment in both the organization and in the sector.

Dallas Alderson
Manager, Policy & Programs

Dallas holds degrees in political science from the University of Manitoba and Carleton University.
 
Prior to coming to CHRA, Dallas worked with the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, the Federation of Canadian Municipalities, the Government of Manitoba and the United Nations Development Program. 
 
With CHRA, Dallas looks forward to working with and for the passionate and innovative individuals and organizations providing affordable housing and working to end homelessness, and is committed to communicating their views and needs to decision-makers.

Vicky Coulombe-Joyce
Coordinator, Communications & Member Services

Vicky has a degree in Graphic Design & Illustration from the University of Hertfordshire in England and a CEGEP diploma in Media Arts from Cégep de Jonquière in Québec. She was the Membership Coordinator for the Canadian Society of Association Executives before joining CHRA.

Kayla De Sousa
Administrative Assistant

Kayla has a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Ottawa as well as a Journalism-Print diploma from Algonquin College. Before joining CHRA, Kayla worked with L. Simpson Management Services, a housing co-operative management company and during her employ, provided administrative and marketing support to the Co-operative Housing Association of Eastern Ontario (CHASEO) and the Co-operative Housing Federation of Canada (CHF Canada).
